Documents that Supports Evidence that Cedar Hill ISD Cover up Assault of Students by Coaches

After posting this article, I decided to post copies of some documents furnished by the Cedar Hill Independent School District as part of a Open Record Request.

Documents support the facts that Defensive Coordinator Steven Lemely assaulted Cedar Hill High School student Demarcus Benson on Saturday October 29, 2011 during a senior class field trip, and school officials took steps to cover up the incident.

In less that 6 months later another senior Adjane’ Latimer was struck in the face by her teacher/coach Jonathan Mullins, and once again the same Principal Tammi Mariani took steps to cover up the incident.

  1. Same stories different schools.
My 9 yr old was beaten for 3 yrs at Kerens TX elementary. Made him sit thru class age 9 with ice-bags to take the swellings down before send him home on the bus to enrage us! With evidence of police reports, doctors verifying bruises next day and 14 formal written complaints the school denied the ever witnessed johnny being bullied or upset?

We finally found an attorney out of state that has won cases form school abuse bullying that caused PTSD. Our 10 year old has flashbacks, nightmares, severe headaches and is on VET MEDS REMERON 24 hrs a day. No he did not have a mental injury or any physical injuries prior to Jan 2009 age 8.

Yes I am guilty for not removing him but I did fight the school and really did think they would remove the bullies from campus to DAEP as they promise in Chapter 37 policy student code of conduct. I found out the hard way level 1,2,3 formal complaints are not enough you have to file level 4 appeal to state education agency then they will audit as they are unaware unless parents make all formal complaints known.

Most parents cannot afford private schools and struggle to pay the electric. We could not home school Johnny as he is Dyslexic. We used our tax refund to get him enrolled in private school finally and for the first time ever he wants to go to school.

Please make formal complaints call me and learn from my mistakes. We are very concerned for students rights to protection and the only relief I can get is helping suffering families not to go through what we did. http://www.schoolbusters.org Michelle 903-396-7668
